Venture into Thailand’s Kui Buri National Park and the surrounding communities with this collaborative mission to discover the realities of living alongside wild Asian elephants. This mission brings together wildlife conservation, human-elephant coexistence, community engagement and habitat restoration, providing insight into the challenges and solutions shaping elephant conservation in Thailand.
You will take part in field walks, elephant monitoring, camera trap analysis, wildlife watching and community-led conservation activities, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of elephant behaviour, movement and the landscapes they share with local communities. You will also join farmers and local guides to explore non-violent conflict mitigation strategies, alternative crops and other innovative approaches to protecting both livelihoods and wildlife.
Beyond elephant conservation, you can experience the culture and knowledge of Ruam Thai through hands-on workshops, local food, sustainable farming and conversations with community members. Habitat restoration activities may also include reforestation, seed-ball projects and ecological monitoring.
From observing wild elephants and birdlife to learning from local communities and contributing to restoration efforts, this mission offers a broader perspective on conservation - one built around collaboration, education and finding practical ways for people and wildlife to thrive together.

Wilde Tracks is a conservation organisation with a different approach to funding wildlife protection: our conservation work is funded through travel.
We work alongside wildlife veterinarians, conservation organisations, reserves, researchers and local communities around the world, helping fund vital work including veterinary interventions, wildlife monitoring and tracking, anti-poaching initiatives, research, habitat protection and community-led conservation.
Rather than relying on donations or traditional fundraising, the people who travel with Wilde Tracks help make this work possible. The money generated through our trips directly contributes to the conservation projects our guests may be part of, while also supporting important work continuing behind the scenes.
